Cross River State-born centre defender, Omini Ijoh, has signed with Elkanemi Warriors FC of Borno State for the 2026/2027 season.
Ijoh hails from Ijiman in Ugep in Yakurr Local Government Area of the state.
The number 6 defender joins the Maiduguri-based NPFL side after an outstanding spell with Hope of Glory Football Academy, Calabar.
In a statement, Hope of Glory Football Academy described Omini as “a pillar of dedication, hard work and talent on the pitch.”
This move marks a huge step in the young defender’s career as he steps up to compete at the top level of Nigerian football.
