The Cross River State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Ankpo Pius Edet, PhD, has inspected the ongoing construction works on the access road to the Bakassi Deep Seaport, reaffirming the State Government’s commitment to quality infrastructure and improved connectivity.
During the inspection, the Commissioner assessed the progress of work and reviewed key aspects of the project to ensure that construction is being executed in line with the required standards and specifications.
The access road is an important component of the infrastructure supporting the proposed Bakassi Deep Seaport, a major maritime and logistics project envisioned to strengthen connectivity, attract investment and create economic opportunities for Cross River State and the wider region.
