The Cross River State APC Non-Indigenous Women led by Mrs. Ezaegu Maria Nnenna (Ada-igbo) held its Extended EXCO Meeting with a renewed focus on Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) and Grassroots Mobilisation ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The strategic meeting, which brought together leaders of the non-indigenous women across the state, was charged with energy, unity and political readiness.
The highlight of the meeting was the official flag-off of “OPERATION SHOW ME YOUR PVC” – a campaign to ensure that every leader and member possesses their PVC as a tool of power and participation.
“Show me your PVC! You must have your PVC as your power, as a leader you must have your PVC because PVC is your power.”
The leaders declared that no member of the APC Non-Indigenous Women structure can be regarded as a true leader without her PVC, emphasizing that the PVC remains the only power to sustain the party’s dominance and ensure victory for APC in Cross River State and at the national level.
In the leaders closing remark, she highlighted that the meeting was convened not just to gather, but to send a clear message down to the polling units. She also pointed out that The women are ready to immediately commence massive sensitization and mobilization at the grassroots, ensuring that all non-indigenous residents in their respective polling units are duly registered, have collected their PVCs, and are ready to vote.
The meeting reaffirmed the unwavering loyalty of the Non-Indigenous Women to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and their total commitment to the success of His Excellency, Apostle Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The atmosphere was electric as women proudly displayed their PVCs, declaring their readiness to deliver bulk votes for the APC.
