President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated former Permanent Secretary, State House, Nebolisa Olisaeloka Emodi, on his 65th birthday.
In a statement by the Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu describes Emodi as a seasoned bureaucrat whose distinguished career in public service and engineering has been marked by competence, integrity and commitment to national development.
The President commends Emodi for his role as Permanent Secretary of the State House between 2014 and 2015, particularly in ensuring a smooth transition following the 2015 general election.
Before his service at the State House, Emodi served as Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transport, where he supervised efforts to revive Nigeria’s railway system between 2011 and 2014.
President Tinubu also describes Emodi, a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering, as an invaluable asset to the nation, commending his professionalism, technical expertise and mentorship of aspiring leaders in technology and engineering.
He wishes Emodi many more years in good health, wisdom and strength as he continues to contribute to national development.
