General Endurance Amagbein maintained that President Bola Tinubu is not complicit in the crisis affecting Nigeria

Niger Delta ex-agitator and philanthropist, the self-styled General Endurance Amagbein, has expressed concern over the security challenges currently plaguing the country, stating that Nigeria can only win the fight when citizens stand with the Federal Government rather than fan the embers of discord.
Amagbein, fondly called Adaka Boro II, made this known in a statement issued to newsmen through his media aide, Dudofa in Abuja, at the weekend.
He said he shares the pain and plight of Nigerians, especially those who have been kidnapped or whose relatives have been killed amid the spate of insecurity. However, he expressed optimism that all hope is not lost, noting that the security agencies are making collective efforts to win the war against banditry, kidnapping, terrorism, and other forms of violent crime.
Amagbein blamed the insecurity on political interests, alleging that some opposition politicians are fueling the crisis to use it as a campaign tool against the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The ex-freedom fighter lamented that some of the same individuals he accused of fueling insecurity had previously benefited from President Tinubu’s administration but later turned against the APC’s Renewed Hope Agenda because of their selfish interests.
Amagbein called for calm, saying hope is still alive, and urged citizens not to give up on their beloved country but to join the fight against those using insecurity as a weapon against the Federal Government ahead of the 2027 elections.
He said it is painful that even some community leaders have allegedly resorted to kidnapping and banditry, only to later blame the President for the insecurity after carrying out their criminal acts.
Despite the challenges, Amagbein maintained that President Bola Tinubu is not complicit in the crisis affecting Nigeria.
He said the rigorous efforts President Tinubu has put into the fight against those threatening the nation’s security are enough proof that the President is concerned about the situation and the challenges facing ordinary Nigerians.
He added that although the opposition continues to focus on insecurity, several terrorists and insurgent groups have been eliminated by the Federal Government.
However, he lamented that the successes recorded by the security agencies often go unnoticed because bad news spreads faster than good news.
Amagbein called on his teeming supporters to continue to rally behind the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections, saying the President should be given more time to fix Nigeria.
He also assured President Bola Tinubu of his unalloyed support, both now and in the future.
