PTwo suspected child kidnappers were reportedly apprehended on Wednesday in Ekparakwa, Akwa Ibom State.
According to reports, the suspects allegedly attempted to kidnap three children who were returning home from school in Ikot Abasi Akpan, Mkpat Enin LGA. They were intercepted at Ekparakwa Junction by residents.
The suspects’ vehicle was set ablaze during the incident. Two male suspects were later arrested by the police
The suspects were identified as Emmanuel Johnny, 39, from Ikot Itokpo Village in Nsit Ubium LGA, but resident in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and Ifiok Umoh, 28, from Ikot Ikpene Village in Oruk Anam LGA.
