According to @RDObservation, a digital blogger who has long focused on the domestic mobile phone market share, the Xiaomi 18 Fold sold nearly 80,000 units in its first 7 days of sales.
This makes it the highest-selling foldable phone in Xiaomi’s history in its first 7 days of sales, and also the second-highest-selling foldable phone in the category this year so far, second only to Huawei.
According to a earlier reports, the blogger revealed the sales figures for the Xiaomi 18 Fold foldable phone on its first day of sale on September 12th — approximately 36,000 units were sold . The blogger believes this is a decent performance for a phone priced starting at 10,000 yuan.
The Xiaomi Mi 18 Fold mid-folding phone was released on September 7th and officially went on sale on September 10th, starting at 10,999 yuan. Xu Fei, Vice President and CMO of Xiaomi Group, revealed on September 8th that the Xiaomi Mi 18 Fold mid-folding phone sold out quickly.
Data shared by Wang Xiaoyan, Senior Vice President of Xiaomi Group and President of Xiaomi China, showed that the Xiaomi Mi 18 Fold flagship phone in the 10,000 yuan price range experienced a surge in sales on its first day, with a 310% year-on-year increase compared to its predecessor, the larger folding phone.
