Businessman and CEO, Portland Resorts Hotel, Azubuike Ihemeje, has rewarded Inspector Maryann Chukwuma, a police officer attached to the Ozuoba Police Division, Port Harcourt, in recognition of her dedication and selfless service.
The gesture came after social commentator Hamilton Robinson shared a post praising the officer, who was seen directing traffic at the NTA Junction in Port Harcourt despite heavy rainfall.
According to Robinson, Inspector Chukwuma remained at her duty post with her uniform completely soaked, carrying out her responsibilities with commitment.
Moved by the post, Azubuike Ihemeje privately contacted Robinson and requested that he bring the officer to Portland Resorts Hotel so she could be appreciated for her outstanding service.
