The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted full accreditation to 22 courses at the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas (FPOG), Bonny, Rivers State.
NBTE is Nigeria’s apex regulatory body responsible for evaluating and granting accreditation to courses at polytechnics, ensuring they meet the required minimum academic standards. Accreditation is typically valid for five years, after which institutions must undergo a re-accreditation process.
Sequel to the established procedures of visitation and inspection in June 2026 to the Polytechnic, the outcome has been the good news of full accreditation to twenty-two more courses.
FPOG is authentic, and her programmes meet rigorous quality and industry standards. The institution wields the power to guarantee ND and HND legitimacy, enable credit transfers, unlock financial aid, and instantly signal to employers that a graduate possesses the exact skills required for their profession.
