The Commissioner of Police in Cross River State, CP Ajo Geoffrey Ordue, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening collaboration between serving and retired police officers in the state.
CP Ordue made the commitment on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, when he received the leadership of the National Association of Retired Police Officers of Nigeria (NARPON), Cross River State Chapter, at the Command Headquarters in Calabar.
The delegation was led by the state Chairman of NARPON, ACP Oyamwenda Ekho-J, Psc (+), JP, retired.
The meeting focused on strengthening institutional collaboration, promoting the welfare of retired police personnel and fostering stronger relationships between serving and retired officers.
The Commissioner appreciated the retired officers for the visit and acknowledged the importance of maintaining a strong relationship between personnel who are currently serving and those who have retired from the Nigeria Police Force.
CP Ordue reaffirmed the command’s commitment to cordial engagement, institutional unity and mutual support.
He said continued collaboration between serving and retired personnel would contribute to the growth and strengthening of the Nigeria Police Force.
The engagement underscores the command’s efforts to maintain institutional relationships and promote cooperation among members of the police family in Cross River State.
