Akwa Ibom-born CSP Anietie Iniedu takes over as Nigeria Police Force spokesperson

    The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has approved the appointment of CSP Anietie Okokon Iniedu as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) of the Nigeria Police Force with immediate effect.

    A statement by the Force on Friday says CSP Anietie Iniedu is a seasoned police officer with extensive experience in strategic communication, intelligence gathering, operations, and public accountability.

    Before his appointment, he served as Head of the Complaint Response Unit at Force Headquarters, Abuja, where he led initiatives that enhanced transparency and strengthened public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force.

    The Akwa Ibom-born officer also served as Public Relations Officer of the Police College of Information Technology in Ogun State and held several key operational and administrative positions, including Officer-in-Charge of the Force Headquarters Situation Room.

    The Inspector-General of Police expressed confidence in CSP Iniedu’s ability to strengthen the Force’s communication strategy, deepen public engagement, and support ongoing policing reforms through effective information management.
