The United Coalition Movement for Prince Otu & Odey, UCMPOO, has announced the constitution of its State Executive Council.
The appointment was contained in an official statement issued by the convener of the Movement, Austine Ibok, under the mantra “BUILT ON INTEGRITY”.
According to the statement, the appointments were made following extensive consultations with leaders and stakeholders across the three senatorial districts of the state and in line with the objectives, core values and mandate of the Movement.
At the State Leadership level, Gabriel Ijang and Edward Odu Ncha were appointed as Deputy Director General I and Deputy Director General II respectively, while Victor Omaga Odo was named Secretary General.
Other appointments include Ikpeme Damon as Diaspora Coordinator and David Ekpenyong as Abuja Coordinator.
The Movement also appointed Hon. Sylvester Nsa to head Political Reconciliation and Integration of Old APC Members, Dr. Diana Mary Nsan for Media and Publicity, Mr. Emeka Osbert for Contact and Mobilization, Esther Illah for Women Affairs, Ewa Malaysia for Youth Affairs, Amb. Helen Inyang for Policy Management and Execution, and Hon. Leo Asuquo for General Duties and Operations.
To ensure effective coordination at the zonal level, Austin Akan was appointed to oversee the Northern Senatorial District, Prince Takim Okongor for the Central Senatorial District, and Hon. Effiom Effiwatt for the Southern Senatorial District.
The leadership of UCMPOO congratulated all appointees and charged them to see their appointment as a call to service, commitment, sacrifice and collective responsibility towards achieving the goals of the Movement, noting that further appointments will be announced in due course.
