The QQ HarmonyOS version app launched an invitation-only upgrade for version
9.2.63 (3414) on the Huawei App Gallery last night (users need to click the link after receiving an SMS notification to install). The testing period is from September 1st to September 25th, 2026.
Daily Lamp provides the following new features for this test version of the QQ HarmonyOS app:
- 1. QQ Space posts support long press to forward.
- 2. Improved experience for sharing chat images and videos.
- 3. Added support for tapping.
- 4. Added the option to set friends to chat only.
- 5. Added the option to set a custom recall message.
- 6. Added support for voice search.
According to user feedback, QQ has also updated to support features such as setting double-tap actions for profile pictures in the “Tap” message feature, QQ Pets, and voice search buttons in the search bar. However, some of these features are still in the grey-scale testing phase and have not been rolled out on a large scale.
Currently, QQ HarmonyOS has surpassed 49.71 million installations and received 46,000 ratings (2.4). It supports features such as one-on-one chat, group chat, multi-person voice or video calls, red envelope grabbing, browsing friends’ updates on QQ Space, short videos, channels, QR code scanning, and dual-platform login (phone/tablet).
Additionally, QQ officially launched its HarmonyOS PC version last July, with an overall interface style similar to the Windows and macOS versions.
