Port Harcourt City will host the grand finale of Miss Earth Nigeria 2026 on September 6, 2026, at Palacio Event Centre.
The contestants are already in Port Harcourt and have been taking part in different activities ahead of the grand finale.
One of the activities was the Miss Earth Nigeria Sashing Ceremony/Meet the Press, held on August 31 at Portland Resorts Hotel.
Miss Mercy Suoyo, who represented Primrose, was selected as the “Darling of the Press.” She was chosen by media personalities who attended the event, including Shan George.
The CEO of Portland Resorts Hotel, Barr. Azubuike Ihemeje, also rewarded one of the contestants with ₦100,000 for impressing him during the ceremony.
National Director of Miss Earth Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima, said the pageant is not just about beauty but also about using young women to promote environmental awareness and encourage people to protect the Earth.
The activities will end with the grand finale on September 6, when the winner of Miss Earth Nigeria 2026 will be crowned.
